Wasatch Football Improves To 2-1 With Win Over Viewmont

HEBER CITY, Utah-Zak Thacker amassed 232 scrimmage yards on 40 touches, including a 31-yard touchdown run as the Wasatch Wasps smacked Viewmont 30-17 Friday in non-region football action at Wright-Tree Stadium. The Wasps improved to 2-1 on the season while Ammon Tuttle connected on field goals of 27, 19 and 39 yards as well in the win for the Wasps. Wasatch’s defense got in on the scoring fun as well as Scott Gabler returned an interception 39 yards for a score and Enrique Ferreyra added an 18-yard fumble recovery for a touchdown. The Wasps stay at Wright-Tree Stadium next Friday as they host the Centennial (Nev.) Bulldogs of Las Vegas.
