SPRINGVILLE, Utah-Makoa Webb ran for two touchdowns and Payton Murphy threw two touchdown passes as the Springville Red Devils downed Wasatch 29-21 Friday in Region 8 football action. Brock Cloward threw three touchdown passes, with Kaden Smith catching two of them from 75 and 25 yards, respectively for the Wasps. Brydger Purdy added a 12-yard scoring reception for the Wasps in the loss, dropping them to 5-2 on the season and 1-1 in Region 8 competition. The Wasps are next in action Friday October 5 at Maple Mountain as their Region 8 season continues.
