LAS VEGAS-Per news released Tuesday evening, Utah Tech men’s head basketball coach Jon Judkins was named as the WAC men’s basketball head coach of the year.
Judkins has led the Trailblazers to an 18-4 record on the season, including an 11-7 mark in WAC play.
Judkins, a former Snow College men’s basketball head coach, has posted a 71-110 (.392) record in Utah Tech’s NCAA Division I history, dating back to the 2020-21 season with 2025-26 clearly being his most successful season at the helm at the Division I level.
Judkins and his Trailblazers are the No. 3 seed at the WAC Tournament and will first play Thursday against the winner of No. 7 Tarleton State/No. 6 Abilene Christian.
