OGDEN, Utah-Justin Yurchak homered as the Ogden Raptors blanked Rocky Mountain 3-0 Monday at Lindquist Field in Pioneer League baseball action. Zac Ching added an insurance RBI double in the 8th Inning to lift the Raptors to 17-6. Aaron Ochsenbein earned the win on the mound for Ogden. The Vibes fell to 9-14 in the loss.
OREM, Utah-Jeremiah Jackson went yard twice, while adding an RBI sacrifice fly as the Orem Owlz smacked Grand Junction 12-5 at UCCU Ballpark Monday in Pioneer League baseball action. Will Wilson and Jose Verrier added home runs for the Owlz, who improved to 8-15 in the win. Adrian Rondon and Anthony Mulrine added RBI for Orem in the victory, with Matt Leon earning the win on the mound for the Owlz as he improved to 3-2. Christian Koss had a pair of RBI in the loss for the Rockies, as they fell to 12-11 on the season.
