IRVING, Texas-Monday, Utah senior kicker Cole Becker was named the Big 12 special teams player of the week.
In the Utes’ 27-19 loss to Arizona State Friday, Becker made all four of his field goal attempts against the Sun Devils. (48, 40, 29 and 46 yards).
Becker is the first Utah kicker since Andy Phillips (October 2016) to make three field goals of 40 yards or longer in a game.
Becker and his Utes teammates return to action Saturday by hosting TCU at Rice-Eccles Stadium.
