SAN FRANCISCO-Tuesday, University of Utah sophomore punter Jack Bouwmeester was named the Pac-12 special teams player of the week.

Bouwmeester, a native of Bendigo, Australia who played college football at Michigan State before coming to the Utes, punted six times for an average of 51.8 yards in Utah’s 24-11 win over Florida last week at Rice-Eccles Stadium.

Bouwmeester and his Utes teammates next visit Baylor Saturday.
