SALT LAKE CITY-Wednesday, the University of Utah released its 2019 baseball schedule which features 24 home games.
The Utes’ season commences with three preseason tournaments, hosted by Texas State in San Marcos, Texas, San Diego State in San Diego and East Carolina in Greenville, N.C.
Utah’s first home games of the season are March 8-10 against the Niagara Purple Eagles of the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference.
The first Pac-12 series of the season for the Utes is at Tucson, Ariz. against the Arizona Wildcats March 15-17.
The Pac-12 season home-opening series is against the Oregon Ducks from March 29-31.
Games against hated rival BYU are at home April 2 and May 14 and at Provo April 9.
The season concludes with a home series against UC Davis May 23-25.
At this point, the Utes will hope to have earned a berth in the NCAA Tournament as the Pac-12 does not have a baseball conference tournament after the close of the regular season.
