LOGAN, Utah-Wednesday, Utah State graduate senior quarterback Bryson Barnes was named the Burlsworth Trophy Walk-On of the Week for his contributions to the Aggies’ season-opening 28-16 win over UTEP last Saturday.
Barnes, a former Milford High School star, completed 19 of 28 passes for 233 yards and a score, as well as running for 29 yards and another score to lift Utah State to victory over the Miners.
Barnes and his Aggies teammates return to action Saturday at No. 19 Texas A&M in Utah State’s second game of the season.
