SOUTH JORDAN, Utah-Joe Hudson and Brice Matthews homered and the Sugar Land Space Cowboys clinched the series win with a 14-7 victory over the Salt Lake Bees Saturday at The Ballpark at America First Square.
Rhett Kouba netted two strikeouts in three innings of work to earn the win on the mound for the Space Cowboys.
Niko Kavadas and Chuckie Robinson homered in defeat for the Bees, who suffered their fourth straight loss.
Following Saturday’s resuts, the Space Cowboys improved to 20-18 while the Bees slumped to 15-22.
The series concludes Sunday with an opening pitch slated for 12:05 pm at The Ballpark at America First Square.
