SUGAR LAND, Texas-Dixon Machado posted a 2-RBI single in the bottom of the 10th Inning and the Sugar Land Space Cowboys edged Salt Lake 3-2 Wednesday at Constellation Field in Pacific Coast League play.
Luis Contreras pitched one inning to secure the win on the mound for the Space Cowboys.
Chad Stevens and Jordyn Adams drove in a run apiece in the loss for the Bees.
Following Wednesday’s games, the Space Cowboys improved to 79-48 while the Bees fell to 60-67.
The Space Cowboys and Bees return to action Thursday at 6:05 pm at Constellation Field for the third game in the series.
