SUGAR LAND, Texas-Pedro León homered and the Sugar Land Space Cowboys edged Salt Lake 6-5 Sunday in Pacific Coast League play at Contellation Field.
A.J. Blubaugh posted nine strikeouts in 5.1 innings of work to earn the win on the mound for the Space Cowboys.
Willie Calhoun homered in the loss for the Bees.
Following Sunday’s results, the Space Cowboys improved to 82-49 and the Bees fell to 61-70.
The Bees return to action Tuesday at 6:35 pm to start a six-game series against the Sacramento River Cats at Smith’s Ballpark.
