WEST SACRAMENTO, Calif.-Hunter Bishop homered and the Sacramento River Cats edged Salt Lake 4-3 at Sutter Health Park Wednesday in Pacific Coast League play.
Kolton Ingram posted a strikeout in two innings of work to earn the win on the mound for the River Cats.
Keston Hiura and Niko Kavadas homeredin the loss for the Bees.
Following Wednesday’s results, the River Cats improved to 62-54 and the Bees fell to 54-61 as they have lost five straight games and nine of their last 10.
The squads return to action Thursday at 7:45 pm for the third game in the series at Sutter Health Park.
