Carson Whisenhunt posted nine strikeouts in six innings of work to earn the win on the mound for Sacramento.
The River Cats took a 3-2 lead in the series following Saturday’s results and go for the series win in the finale Sunday at 2:05 pm MDT at Sutter Health Park while the Bees seek to salvage a split.
