ROUND ROCK, Texas-Blaine Crim homered and the Round Rock Express downed Salt Lake 16-11 Thursday at Dell Diamond in Pacific Coast League play.

Josh Stephan posted seven strikeouts in six innings of work to earn the win on the mound for Round Rock.

Denzer Guzman homered in the loss for the Bees.

Following Thursday’s results, the Express improved to 22-32 while the Bees fell to 26-27.

Round Rock can secure a series split with a win Friday. Opening pitch is slated for 6:05 pm at Dell Diamond.

Pioneer League

OGDEN, Utah-Enzo Apodaca, Xavier Casserilla and Jeremy Piatkiewicz homered and the Missoula PaddleHeads smacked Ogden 13-5 Thursday in Pioneer League play at Lindquist Field.

Rolando Gutierrez posted three strikeouts in six innings of work to earn the win on the mound for the PaddleHeads.

Kyler Stancato homered in the loss for the Raptors.

Following Thursday’s results, the PaddleHeads improved to 5-4 and the Raptors fell to 3-6. Missoula seeks to secure at least the series split with a win in Friday’s game. Opening pitch is slated for 6:35 pm at Lindquist Field.
