Parker Kingston Earns Back-To-Back Weekly Hornung Award Honors

LOUISVILLE, Ky.-Tuesday, BYU redshirt junior receiver/kick returner Parker Kingston received weekly honors from the Paul Hornung Award Honor Roll for the second consecutive week.

Kingston, a former football, basketball and track and field star at Roy High School, netted five receptions for 117 yards, including a 75-yard scoring reception in the No. 15 Cougars’ 33-27 double-overtime win over Arizona last Saturday.

The 5-11 185-pound native of Layton, Utah is BYU’s leading receiver on the season with 23 grabs for 333 yards and three touchdown receptions while also adding 10 carries for 51 yards and a score. Additionally, Kingston averages 13.1 yards per punt return this season for BYU.

Kingston and his BYU teammates return to action Saturday evening by hosting No. 23 Utah in the Holy War at LaVell Edwards Stadium for Homecoming for the Cougars.
