SALT LAKE CITY-Dalton Rushing and Ryan Ward each homered twice and Chris Okey and James Outman also went yard as the Oklahoma City Baseball Club shellacked Salt Lake 13-2 in the penultimate game of the season for the Bees Saturday at Smith’s Ballpark.
Justin Wrobleski posted five strikeouts in two innings of work to earn the win on the mound for Oklahoma City.
Caleb Ketchup and Tucker Flint drove in a run apiece in the loss for the Bees.
Following Saturday’s results, Oklahoma City improved to 78-71 and the Bees slumped to 67-81.
The Bees conclude their season Sunday at 1:05 pm at Smith’s Ballpark for the final game in the series. Oklahoma City seeks the series win Sunday while the Bees hope to end this campaign with a series split.
