SALT LAKE CITY-Alex Freeland homered and the Oklahoma City Baseball Club downed Salt Lake 9-3 Thursday in Pacific Coast League play at Smith’s Ballpark.
Jose E. Hernandez posted two strikeouts in 1.1 innings of work to earn the win on the mound for the Oklahoma City Baseball Club.
Anthony Mulrine drove in two runs in defeat for the Bees.
Following Thursday’s results, Oklahoma City improved to 77-70 while the Bees fell to 66-80.
The squads return to action Friday at 6:35 pm at Smith’s Ballpark for the fourth game in the series.
