SOUTH JORDAN, Utah-Justin Foscue, Cody Freeman, Chad Wallach and Dustin Harris homered and the Round Rock Express decimated Salt Lake 21-2 Wednesday in Pacific Coast League baseball play at The Ballpark at America First Square. Patrick Murphy posted a strikeout in 1.1 innings of work to earn the win on the mound for the Express. Carter Kieboom and Zach Humphreys drove in a run apiece in the loss for the Bees. Following Wednesday’s results, the Express improved to 29-30 and the Bees, now losers of nine straight, slumped to 23-35. The squads return to action Thursday at 7:05 pm for the third game in the series.
Pioneer League
GARDEN CITY, Idaho-Charles Updegrave and Carmine Lane homered and the Ogden Raptors smacked Boise 11-4 in Pioneer League play Wednesday at Memorial Stadium. Paul Myro IV drove in three runs in the loss for the Hawks. Following Wednesday’s results, the Raptors and Hawks both have 7-7 records. The squads return to play Thursday at 7:00 pm at Memorial Stadium for the third game of the series.
