SOUTH JORDAN, Utah-Christian Moore and Sebastián Rivero each homered and the Salt Lake Bees downed Round Rock 11-8 Thursday in Pacific Coast League play at The Ballpark at America First Square. Caden Dana netted four strikeouts in 5.1 innings of work to earn the win on the mound for the Bees. Alan Trejo and Trevor Hauver homered in defeat for the Express. Following Thursday’s results, the Bees, who had lost their last nine coming into this one, improved to 24-35 while the Express fell to 29-31. The squads return to action Friday at 7:05 pm at The Ballpark at America First Square for the fourth game in the series.
Pioneer League
GARDEN CITY, Idaho-Max Jung-Goldberg and Jeremiah Begora each homered and the Boise Hawks blanked Ogden 8-0 Thursday at Memorial Stadium in Pioneer League play. Cameron Dayton netted seven strikeouts in 7.1 innings of work to earn the win on the mound for the Hawks. The Hawks improved to 8-7 and the Raptors slumped to 7-8. The squads return to action Friday at 7:05 pm at Memorial Stadium for the fourth game in the series, which Ogden currently leads 2-1.
