Pacific Coast League

TACOMA, Wash.-Dominic Canzone’s RBI double in the bottom of the 9th Inning lifted the Tacoma Rainiers to a 4-3 win over the Salt Lake Bees Tuesday at Cheney Stadium in Pacific Coast League play.

Will Klein posted two strikeouts in one inning of work to earn the win on the mound for the Rainiers.

Chad Stevens homered in the loss for the Bees.

The Bees and Rainiers return to action for the second game in the series Wednesday at 7:05 pm MDT at Cheney Stadium.

Pioneer League

OGDEN, Utah-Leyton Barry homered and the Yuba-Sutter High Wheelers outgunned Ogden 14-10 Tuesday in the series opener at Lindquist Field, the Raptors’ home opener as well.

Jayden Drake pitched four innings to earn the win on the mound for Yuba-Sutter. Carmine Lane drove in five runs in the loss for the Raptors.

Ogden and Yuba-Sutter meet again for the second game of the series Wednesday at 6:30 pm at Lindquist Field.
