Pacific Coast League

SOUTH JORDAN, Utah-Yonathan Perlaza homered and the El Paso Chihuahuas salvaged a series split with a 10-6 win over the Salt Lake Bees Sunday at The Ballpark at America First Square. Manuel Castro posted three strikeouts in two innings of work to earn the win on the mound for El Paso. Tucker Flint homered in the loss for the Bees. Following Sunday’s results, the Chihuahuas improved to 73-64 and the Bees fell to 60-77. The Bees start their final home series of the season Tuesday in a six-game series against Tacoma. Opening pitch is slated for 7:05 pm at The Ballpark at America First Square.

Pioneer League

OGDEN, Utah-Noah Marcelo, Taylor Darden, Jake Hjelle, J.C. Santini and Braxton Turner each homered and the Boise Hawks doubled up Ogden 18-9 Sunday at Lindquist Field to conclude the Pioneer League regular season. Connor Bagnieski and Kyler Stancato homered in defeat for the Raptors. The Hawks conclude the regular season at 48-48 and the Raptors fell to 52-43. Ogden will play Oakland Thursday September 11-Saturday September 13 in a best of three playoffs series.
