Pacific Cost League
SOUTH JORDAN, Utah-Denzer Guzman homered and the Salt Lake Bees bested Las Vegas 5-3 Wednesday in Pacific Coast League play at The Ballpark at America First Square. Shaun Anderson posted four strikeouts in six innings of work to earn the win on the mound for the Bees. Nick Martini homered in the loss for the Aviators. Following Thursday’s results, the Bees improved to 44-65 and the Aviators fell to 64-46.
Pioneer League
OGDEN, Utah-Connor Bagnieski, Sebastian Greico, Bradley Pelle and Cole Jordan homered and the Ogden Raptors got past Colorado Springs 12-11 at Lindquist Field Wednesday in Pioneer League play. Cameron Edmonson netted two strikeouts in one inning of work to earn the win on the mound for the Raptors. Brett Robert, Zane Denton, Justin Johnson, Marco Martinez and Evan Sleight homered in the loss for the Sky Sox. Following Wednesday’s results, the Raptors improved to 36-30-1 and the Sky Sox fell to 17-49-1. The squads return to action Thursday at 6:30 pm at Lindquist Field.
