SOUTH JORDAN, Utah-Junior Perez, Henry Bolte and Zack Gelof homered and the Las Vegas Aviators soared past Salt Lake 8-4 Tuesday in Pacific Coast League to open this six-game series at The Ballpark at America First Square. David Leal netted a strikeout in one inning of work to earn the win on the mound for Las Vegas. Brandon Drury homered in the loss for the Bees. Following Tuesday’s results, the Aviators improved to 64-45 and the Bees fell to 43-65.
Pioneer League
OGDEN, Utah-Kai Moody drove in two runs and the Colorado Springs Sky Sox and Ogden Raptors played to a 4-4 tie after 10 innings Tuesday in Pioneer League play at Lindquist Field to open this six-game series. Carmine Lane, Damian Stone and True Fontenot drove in a run apiece for Ogden. The squads return to action Wednesday at 6:30 pm at Lindquist Field.
