SOUTH JORDAN, Utah-Carter Kieboom drove in two runs and the Salt Lake Bees edged Reno 4-3 Wednesday in Pacific Coast League play at The Ballpark at America First Square. Brady Choban pitched one inning and earned the win on the mound for Salt Lake. Gabriel Moreno and Jordan Lawlar homered in the loss for the Aces. Following Wednesday’s results, the Bees improved to 51-70 and the Aces fell to 50-72 in defeat. The Bees and Aces return to action Thursday at 7:05 pm at The Ballpark at America First Square.
Pioneer League
OGDEN, Utah-Connor Bagnieski homered and the Ogden Raptors pummeled Rocky Mountain 13-4 in Pioneer League play Wednesday at Lindquist Field. Chase Chatman posted three strikeouts in six innings of work to earn the win on the mound for the Raptors. Sam Linscott drove in two runs in the loss for the Vibes. Following Wednesday’s results, the Raptors improved to 45-34 and the Vibes fell to 37-42. The squads return to action Thursday at 6:35 pm at Lindquist Field.
