SOUTH JORDAN, Utah-Cavan Biggio homered and the Salt Lake Bees waxed Reno 6-4 Tuesday at The Ballpark at America First Square in Pacific Coast League play. Sam Bachman pitched one inning to earn the win on the mound for the Bees and Victor González was credited with the save for Salt Lake in victory. Gabriel Moreno, Matt Mervis and A.J. Vukovich homered in the loss for the Aces. Following Tuesday’s results, the Bees improved to 50-70 and the Aces fell to 50-71. The squads return to action Wednesday at 7:05 pm in the second game of the series at The Ballpark at America First Square.
Pioneer League
OGDEN, Utah-Kellum Clark, Sam Linscott and Gary Lora Gonzalez each homered and the Rocky Mountain Vibes overpowered Ogden 16-12 Tuesday at Lindquist Field in Pioneer League play. Nick Powers netted one strikeout in 3.1 innings of work to earn the win on the mound for the Vibes. Wyatt Tucker pitched 0.2 innings of work and was credited with the save for Rocky Mountain. Elliot Good homered in the loss for the Raptors. Following Tuesday’s results, the Vibes improved to 37-41 and the Raptors fell to 44-34. The squads return to action Wednesday at 6:35 pm at Lindquist Field for the second game in the series.
