SUGAR LAND, Texas-Jon Singleton and Edwin Díaz homered and the Sugar Land Space Cowboys downed Salt Lake 6-2 in Pacific Coast League play Friday at Constellation Field. Lance McCullers posted five strikeouts in five innings of work to earn the win on the mound for Sugar Land. Carter Kieboom and Scott Kingery drove in a run apiece in the loss for the Bees. Following Friday’s results, the Space Cowboys improved to 55-60 and the Bees fell to 49-68. The squads return to action Saturday at 6:05 pm at Constellation Field for the fifth game of the series.

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo.-Connor Bagnieski and Cole Jordan homered and the Ogden Raptors downed Grand Junction 8-7 Friday in Pacific Coast League play at Suplizio Field. Dylan Gardner’s five strikeouts in two innings of work earned the win on the mound for the Raptors. Alex Pimentel and Mason Minzey homered in defeat for the Jackalopes. Following Friday’s results, the Raptors improved to 43-32 and the Jackalopes fell to 32-44. The squads return to action Saturday at 6:35 pm at Suplizio Field for the fifth game of the series.
