OKLAHOMA CITY-Sebastián Rivero belted a grand slam and the Salt Lake Bees smacked Oklahoma City 8-2 Tuesday in Pacific Cosat League play at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark. Matthew Lugo also homered in the win for the Bees. Brett Kerry posted six strikeouts in 5.1 innings of work to earn the win on the mound for the Bees. Chuckie Robinson homered in the loss for the Comets. Following Tuesday’s results, the Bees improved to 40-62 and the Comets fell to 63-40. The squads return to action Wednesday at 6:05 pm at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark.
Pioneer League
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo.-Connor Bagnieski homered and the Ogden Raptors overpowered Colorado Springs 15-10 in Pioneer League play Tuesday at Blocktickets Park. Nico Saltaformaggio recorded a strikeout in two innings of work to earn the win on the mound for the Raptors. Quintt Landis and T.J. McKenzie homered in the loss for the Sky Sox. Following Tuesday’s results, the Raptors improved to 32-28 and the Sky Sox fell to 15-45. The squads return to action Wednesday at 6:15 pm at Blocktickets Park for the second game of the series.
