Kalani Sitake Named As Semifinalist For George Munger Award

PROVO, Utah-Wednesday, BYU football head coach Kalani Sitake was named as a semifinalist for the Maxwell Football Club George Munger Award.

He is one of 18 semifinalists nationally for the award.

Sitake has led the Cougars to a 10-2 record, the No. 17 national ranking in the polls this week and a berth in the Valero Alamo Bowl against fellow Big 12 foe Colorado.

Incidentally, Buffaloes head coach Deion Sanders is also a semifinalist for this award. The full list of semifinalists is as follows:

The finalists will be announced December 24 and the winner will be declared January 9. The formal presentation will occur March 14.
