ALBUQUERQUE, N.M.-Aaron Schunk belted a grand slam and the Albuquerque Isotopes hammered Salt Lake 17-2 Wednesday at Isotopes Park in Pacific Coast League play.
Ryan Ritter, Braxton Fulford and Owen Miller also homered for the Isotopes who won their first game of this series in outhitting the Bees 18-6.
Jack O’Loughlin earned the win on the mound for Albuquerque, posting three strikeouts in five innings of work.
Chad Stevens and Scott Kingery drove in a run apiece in the loss for the Bees.
The squads return to action Thursday at 12:05 pm at Isotopes Park for the third game in the series.
