ALBUQUERQUE, N.M.-Sam Hilliard drove in a pair of runs and the Albuquerque Isotopes edged Salt Lake 3-2 Tuesday to start the six-game series at RGCU Field at Isotopes Park.
Diego Castillo posted two strikeouts in an inning of work to earn the win on the mound for the Isotopes. Matthew Lugo and Chuckie Robinson drove in a run apiece in the loss for the Bees.
Following Tuesday’s results, the Isotopes improved to 12-16 and the Bees fell to 11-17.
Wednesday’s game is slated for 6:35 pm at RGCU Field at Isotopes Park.
