SALT LAKE CITY-Michael Toglia, Jimmy Herron, Connor Kaiser, Hunter Stovall and Yonathan Daza each drove in a run and the Albuquerque Isotopes downed the Salt Lake Bees 6-1 in the series finale Sunday at Smith’s Ballpark.
Ben Braymer posted two strikeouts in five innings of work to earn the win on the mound for Albuquerque.
David Fletcher homered in the loss for the Bees.
Salt Lake fell to 27-30 on the season while Albuquerque fell to 23-34.
The Bees return to action Tuesday at 6:35 pm by hosting the Round Rock Express for a six-game series at Smith’s Ballpark.
Pioneer League
BOISE, Idaho-Juan Teixeira and Rafael Narea each drove in a run and the Ogden Raptors achieved a series split against Boise with a 4-1 win over the Hawks at Memorial Stadium Sunday.
Pablo Arevalo posted four strikeouts in nine innings of work to earn the win on the mound for the Raptors.
Alex Baeza drove in a run in the loss for the Hawks.
Ogden improved to 7-5 on the season while Boise fell to 8-4.
The Raptors return to action by hosting the Idaho Falls Chukars for a six-game series Tuesday at Lindquist Field. Opening pitch is at 7:05 pm.
