Hornets Down Jazz Friday at Las Vegas Summer League

LAS VEGAS-Liam McNeeley posted 22 points, 12 rebounds and 6 assists on 3-6 from range and the Charlotte Hornets downed the Utah Jazz 111-105 Friday in the Las Vegas Summer League opener for both squads at the Thomas & Mack Center. Charlotte shot just under 51 percent from the field in the win. Kyle Filipowski netted 32 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists on 12-17 from the field in defeat for the Jazz. The Jazz returns to action Sunday at 8:00 pm at the Thomas & Mack Center against the Golden State Warriors.
