SALT LAKE CITY-As was confirmed Wednesday evening, Utah men’s basketball sophomore (a junior-to-be) forward Donnie Tillman announced he will return to the Runnin’ Utes program for the 2019-20 season.
The 6-7 forward out of Detroit went through the NBA Draft process before making the choice to return.
Tillman averaged a career-best 10.3 points and 5.3 rebounds per game for the Utes. He was also effective behind the arc, making 44 3-pointers last season and shooting a respectable 36.1 percent from range.
By virtue of his contributions, Tillman was named as the Pac-12 Conference’s Sixth man of the year.
Tillman also shot a career-best 78.6 percent at the foul line, while netting career bests in steals (18) and blocks (10).
