OKLAHOMA CITY-Ryan Ward homered twice and Michael Busch also went yard as the Salt Lake Bees overpowered Oklahoma City 17-8 Tuesday at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark.
Despite a rain delay of 70 minutes, the Dodgers’ bats remained hot as they netted 17 hits on the evening in improving to 46-18.
Bryan Hudson posted four strikeouts in 1.1 innings of work to earn the win on the mound for the Dodgers. Hudson is 4-0 on the season for Oklahoma City.
Trey Cabbage homered twice and Andrew Velasquez also went yard in defeat for the Bees.
Oklahoma City improved to 46-18 and Salt Lake fell to 30-34 following the result of Tuesday’s game.
The Bees and Dodgers have a swift turnaround as they meet again Wednesday at 11:05 am at Chickasaw Baseball Park.
BOISE, Idaho-Sean Skelly homered and the Boise Hawks bested Ogden 9-3 Tuesday at Memorial Stadium. The Hawks and Raptors meet again Wednesday at 7:05 pm at Memorial Stadium.
