SALT LAKE CITY-Ryan Ward homered and the Oklahoma City Dodgers downed Salt Lake 4-1 Saturday at Smith’s Ballpark. David Dahl added an RBI single in victory for Oklahoma City. Kyle Hurt recorded eight strikeouts in four innings of work to earn the win on the mound for the Dodgers. Hurt is 1-1 on the season for Oklahoma City. Wander Suero added three strikeouts in one innings for the Dodgers, earning his 14th save of the season.

Oklahoma City improved to 75-42 on the season while the Bees fell to 55-63.

The Bees can still secure a series victory with a Sunday win. Opening pitch is slated for 1:05 pm at Smith’s Ballpark.

OGDEN, Utah-Payton Robertson homered and the Northern Colorado Owlz pounded Ogden 20-5 at Lindquist Field. Will Buraconak posted three strikeouts in six innings of work to earn the win on the mound for the Owlz. Landen Barns drove in two runs in defeat for the Raptors.
