SALT LAKE CITY-Michael Busch and Justin Yurchak homered and the Oklahoma City Dodgers dismantled Salt Lake 6-1 Friday at Smith’s Ballpark, achieving their first win in this series. Landon Knack posted four strikeouts in seven innings of work to earn the win on the mound for the Dodgers. Knack is 3-1 on the season for Oklahoma City. Jared Oliva drove in a run in defeat for the Bees. With the win, Salt Lake fell to 55-62 on the season while the Dodgers improved to 74-42.

The Dodgers and Bees meet again Saturday at 6:35 pm at Smith’s Ballpark.

Pioneer League

OGDEN, Utah-Reese Alexiades and Juan Teixeira each homered and the Ogden Raptors bested Northern Colorado 10-8 Friday at Lindquist Field. Quinn Waterhouse recorded three strikeouts in 1.1 innings of work to earn the win on the mound for the Raptors. Abdel Guadalupe homered twice in the loss for the Owlz. The Raptors and Owlz return to action Saturday at 6:30 pm at Lindquist Field.
