Dehlin Continues Strong Play, Ties For Second at U.S. Open

PROVO, Utah-Thursday, Utah Valley University senior women’s golfer Carly Dehlin ensued in her dominant summer play as she tied for second at the Siegfried & Jensen Utah Women’s Open at the East Bay Golf Course of Provo.

During the two-round event, Dehlin carded an impressive 4-under par 140 which included a final-round 5-under-par 67 to tie for second with Colorado State’s Katrina Prendergast and entered a playoff to determine the low-amateur of the event.

The tournament was won by former BYU standout Lea Garner, who is currently a Washington Terrace-based pro.

Dehlin is a two-time All-WAC performer for the Wolverines and a three-time Women’s Golf Coach Association All-American scholar who is entering her senior season.
