OKLAHOMA CITY-Jack Suwinski homered and the Oklahoma City Comets overpowered Salt Lake 7-4 Saturday at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark in Pacific Coast League play. Keynan Middleton netted four strikeouts in 1.2 innings of work to earn the win on the mound for the Comets.

Jeimer Candelario homered in the loss for the Bees.

Following Saturday’s results, the Comets, who secured at least a series split, improved to 20-18 on the season while the Bees slumped to 16-22.

The Comets go for the series win Sunday as the series concludes at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark while the Bees will seek to secure a series split for the third consecutive week.

Opening pitch is slated for 1:05 pm.
