SOUTH JORDAN, Utah-James Outman, Justin Dean and Ryan Ward homered and the Oklahoma City Comets edged Salt Lake 8-7 Sunday to conclude their six-game series at The Ballpark At America First Square.
Ryan Sublette posted two strikeouts in one inning of work to earn the win on the mound for the Comets.
Niko Kavadas and Chad Stevens homered in the loss for the Bees.
Following Sunday’s results, the Comets, winners of five of six in this series, improved to 19-8 while the Bees fell to 11-16.
Salt Lake returns to action Tuesday for a six-game series at Albuquerque against the Isotopes. Opening pitch is slated for 6:35 pm.
