EL PASO, Texas-Bryce Johnson homered and the El Paso Chihuahuas downed Salt Lake 7-5 Thursday at Southwest University Ballpark in Pacific Coast League play.
Logan Gillaspie posted a strikeout in one inning of work to earn the win on the mound for the Chihuahuas.
Gustavo Campero and Kyren Paris drove in two runs apiece in defeat for the Bees.
Following Thursday’s results, the Chihuahuas improved to 56-85 while the Bees fell to 65-75.
The Bees and Chihuahuas return to action Friday at 6:35 pm at Southwest University Ballpark in the fourth game of the series.
