EL PASO, Texas-Cal Mitchell drove in three runs and the El Paso Chihuahuas smacked Salt Lake 6-1 Saturday in Pacific Coast League play at Southwest University Ballpark.
Randy Vásquez posted eight strikeouts in six innings of work to earn the win on the mound for the Chihuahuas.
Elliot Soto drove in a run in defeat for the Bees.
Following Saturday’s results, the Chihuahuas achieved the series win and improved to 58-85 on the season while the Bees fell to 65-77.
The series concludes Sunday at 12:05 pm at Southwest University Ballpark.
