EL PASO, Texas-Tirso Ornelas and Kevin Plawecki homered and the El Paso Chihuahuas routed Salt Lake 13-4 Friday at Southwest University Ballpark in Pacific Coast League play.
Gabe Mosser posted six strikeouts in six innings of work to earn the win on the mound for the Chihuahuas.
Elliot Soto, Chad Stevens and Landon Wallace drove in a run apiece in defeat for the Bees.
Following Friday’s results, the Chihuahuas, who have achieved at least a series split, improved to 57-85 while the Bees slumped to 65-76.
The squads return to action Saturday at 6:35 pm at Southwest University Ballpark for the fifth game in the series.
