SALT LAKE CITY-In news released Wednesday, Utah men’s basketball head coach Craig Smith announced the addition of Carter Stevens to the Runnin’ Utes staff as the director of scouting/video this week.
Stevens comes to Utah after spending the past few months with Ángeles CD México of México City.
With the squad, Stevens helped provide advance scouting and statistical analysis of all opponents while providing real-time tactical recommendations based on available data.
Stevens spent two seasons at Northern Iowa as a graduate assistant. While there, he prepared advanced scouting reports and analysis.
Stevens starred at Des Moines Area Community College (2018-19) before transferring to NCAA Division III Dubuque (2019-21) averaging 6.4 points per game for the Spartans.
