BYU Men’s Basketball Visits Pacific Thursday

STOCKTON, Calif.-Thursday, BYU men’s basketball faces Pacific to commence the West Coast Conference season.

After dropping three consecutive games (UNLV, San Diego State, Mississippi State) wherein they have surrendered 95 points per game, the Cougars sit at 8-7 on the season.

The Cougars score 84.5 points per game and currently give up 78.8 points per contest.

Junior forward Yoeli Childs remains spectacular for the Cougars, averaging 22.3 points and 10.1 rebounds per game.

Pacific comes into this game at 10-5 and are coming off a December which saw them go 5-1, only dropping an 83-71 game at Boise State December 22 in that span.

The Tigers are also 7-1 at the Alex G. Spanos Center on the season.

Pacific scores 75.4 points per game and surrenders 72.8 points per contest.

Senior guard Roberto Gallinat posts 14.6 points per game to lead the Tigers.
