PROVO, Utah-Tuesday, BYU men’s basketball head coach Kevin Young officially announced the signing of junior guard/forward Collin Chandler. Chandler, a former Farmington High School star, signed with BYU before going on his mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, only to change his mind and play at Kentucky for the first two campaigns of his collegiate career for former Cougars head coach Mark Pope.
The 6-5 Chandler averaged 6.5 points per game during his two seasons with the Wildcats.
In SEC play for Kentucky last season, Chandler averaged 10.5 points per game and shot a conference-best 45.7 percent behind the arc.
