ALBUQUERQUE, N.M.-Zach Humphreys drove in three runs and the Salt Lake Bees waxed Albuquerque 8-3 Thursday at RGCU Field at Isotopes Park in Pacific Coast League play.
Victor Mederos posted two strikeouts in 5.2 innings of work to earn the win on the mound for the Bees.
Sam Hilliard and Julio Carreras drove in a run apiece in the loss for the Isotopes.
The Bees improved to 13-17 in winning their second consecutive game while the Isotopes fell to 12-18.
The Bees can secure at least a series split with a win on Friday. Opening pitch is slated for 6:35 pm at RGCU Field at Isotopes Park.
