Minor League Baseball

SOUTH JORDAN, Utah-Tucker Flint homered and the Salt Lake Bees edged Omaha 6-5 Tuesday in the series opener at The Ballpark at America First Square.

Jake Eder netted seven strikeouts in six innings of work to earn the win on the mound for the Bees.

Cam Devanney and Tyler Tolbert homered in the loss for the Storm Chasers.

Following Tuesday’s results, the Bees, winners of four of their last five, improved to 19-26 on the season while Omaha fell to 19-25.

The squads return to action Wednesday at 6:35 pm for the second game in the series at The Ballpark at America First Square.

Pioneer League

OAKLAND, Calif.-Michael O’Harra hit a walkoff home run in the knockout round and the Oakland Ballers edged Ogden 5-4 Wednesday in the Pioneer League season opener at Raimondi Park. Luke Short netted seven strikeouts in four innings of work to earn the win on the mound for the Ballers. Edwin De La Cruz drove in two runs in the loss for the Raptors. The squads return to action Wednesday at 7:35 pm at Raimondi Park.
