TACOMA, Wash.-Trey Cabbage drove in three runs and the Salt Lake Bees downed Tacoma 7-2 Sunday at Cheney Stadium.
Kenny Rosenberg posted five strikeouts in 5.2 innings of work to earn the win on the mound for Salt Lake. Rosenberg improved to 6-4 on the season for the Bees.
Brian O’Keefe homered in the loss for the Rainiers.
Salt Lake improved to 39-40 on the season while Tacoma fell to 40-40.
The Bees can salvage a series split with a win against the Rainiers Monday at Cheney Stadium.
