SALT LAKE CITY-Kyren Paris and Eric Wagaman homered and the Salt Lake Bees downed Sacramento 11-5 Thursday at Smith’s Ballpark in Pacific Coast League play.
Davis Daniel posted seven strikeouts in seven innings of work to earn the win on the mound for the Bees.
David Villar and Wade Meckler homered in the loss for the River Cats.
Following Thursday’s results, the Bees improved to 63-71 while the River Cats fell to 72-63.
The squads return to action Friday at 6:35 pm at Smith’s Ballpark for the fourth game in the series.
