SALT LAKE CITY-Jordyn Adams homered in the bottom of the 8th Inning and the Salt Lake Bees edged Round Rock 6-5 Tuesday at Smith’s Ballpark.

Gerardo Reyes posted five strikeouts in two innings of work to earn the win on the mound for Salt Lake. Reyes is 2-2 on the season for the Bees.

Davis Wendzel, Justin Foscue, Blaine Crim and J.P. Martinez each drove in runs in the loss for the Express.

Salt Lake improved to 28-30 on the season with the win, as they have won six of their last seven contests. Round Rock fell to 32-26 in defeat.

The Bees and Express return to action Wednesday at 12:05 pm at Smith’s Ballpark.

Pioneer League

OGDEN, Utah-Reese Alexiades homered and the Ogden Raptors blanked Idaho Falls 5-0 Tuesday at Lindquist Field. Mitchell Stone posted 14 strikeouts in 7 innings of work to earn the win on the mound for Ogden.

The Raptors improved to 8-5 on the season in victory while the Chukars fell to 5-8. The Raptors and Chukars return to action Wednesday at 7:05 pm at Lindquist Field.
